Mill of Fanderia - Errenteria

River's House

The Fandería mill building reflects the strength and evolution of the industry in Errenteria for 500 years. Taking advantage of the power of water, in the fifteenth century, it served as a driving force for the forge of Renteriola and, over the years, it was transformed into a splitting mill crack, mill and feed factory. Its industrial activity ceased in 1996 and in the 21st-century it was converted into a river interpretation center, to make known and preserve the environmental and cultural heritage.

Today, you can see in operation the mechanism and grinding wheels. You will see audiovisuals and a collection of information boards will allow you to deepen your knowledge on the mill and our cultural and fluvial heritage.
